About Us

A History of Excellence

Starting out in Lloydminster in 1992, Bexson has grown to include in-house designers, a project designer, architectural technologist, steel erection crew, and some of the finest carpenters in Western Canada. Three of our team members have gone on to become Gold Seal-certified through the Canadian Construction Association.

Award-Winning Designs

Our team has won numerous design awards through American Buildings Company’s annual “Excellence in Design” competition. As a North American-wide event, we are proud to be honoured as one of the best steel building designers. To view our award-winning designs, please see our project gallery.

Safety First

In 1998, we earned our COR (Certificate of Recognition) through Alberta Construction Safety Association. To retain this high standard, we undergo an annual audit set by the Alberta Construction Safety Association. In meeting the standards set by a portion of our clients, we also subscribe to DriverCheck and ISNetworld®.

Safety training occurs at every level and each new hire goes through our construction safety training program. This not only helps to ensure safe worksites, but allows Bexson to partake in the COR rebate plan.

In recognition of our accomplishments in the industry, the Alberta Construction Safety Association has awarded Bexson with the “Trail Blazer” award. This award is a testament to our ongoing dedication and the contributions all of us make in enhancing safety and health within the workplace.

Bexson has also been awarded the “Pace Setter” award for our commitment to safe worksites.

Today’s Bexson

Today, Bexson operates with an average number of 38 employees. It has been our long-standing mission to work together in visualizing our customers’ needs in order to give them the best value for the dollar.

Employee Relations

Many of our employees are found through word-of-mouth recommendations. Employees are retained in a deliberate manner at our company; we have a program that incentivises solid performance during the year and rewards good work at the end of each fiscal year. Not only do employees work toward their own success, but the success of the company as a whole.

Because the health of our employees matters, we provide employees with dental, vision, and medical insurance coverage through the Merit Contractors Association.

Additionally, we offer and encourage apprenticeships for our carpenters and iron workers. If you are interested in joining the team at Bexson, we invite you to contact us for additional information.
